For nearly 30 years I have studied human behaviour, not in a classroom and not with my head in a text book but in the real world. Every working day for the past 28 or so years I gave coached, trained, educated, counselled, motivated, advised and preached.
But best of all I have learned a hell of a lot about people.
My job has been to get the best out of people and to show them what they are capable of. My clients have relied on me getting to know them, know what motivates them, know their fears and struggles and know how to get them to behave in a certain way.
I have been blessed to learn about how people process information, how they respond to different stimuli, how they are motivated by different things and how they sabotage their own success.
I by no means know it all and I continue to learn every day.
I love what I do because I see the potential in people. I see what they often can’t see in themselves. I love the challenge of seeing the light bulbs go off and then seeing the results of intention and then action.
There are dozens of different ways to approach the same person with the same issue depending on the day and the situation. What works one day will not work the next. There are also dozens of different ways to approach different people with the same issue. Every person is different and in the coaching game, a one size fits all approach has no place.
People are amazing and what I’ve learned is that the majority of people have no idea how capable they are. Sadly most never find out. There is something magical that happens however when you can help one person get that breakthrough they want and help them realise that they can achieve anything they put their mind to.
Again and again I’ve helped people turn their entire life upside down and inside out (for the better) and I know it’s possible for anyone who is willing to do the work. Including you!
